How to Deactivate Email Integration in Zoho CRM (IMAP)

The purpose of this KB is to guide users through the process of disabling email configuration within Zoho CRM. This can be a powerful troubleshooting tool when IMAP/emails in CRM are not working as they should.

  1. In Zoho CRM, navigate to the settings menu by clicking the gear Icon at the top right of your page next to your Profile Picture/Icon:


  2. Under "Channels" Click the "Email" option


  3. "Under Email Configuration" > "Email" tabs, click "Deactivate IMAP"

  4.  A new pop-up will occur providing important information as well as a selection choice. If you plan on re-enabling IMAP at any point, please check the box "Save my Folders, Filters, Labels and Tasks and sync them when IMAP is reconfigured". If you aren't sure, its better to check it than leave it unchecked.

  5. Click "Yes, Deactivate Now"
  6. DONE!
