Locating Shared items and sharing a File or Folder with others in Zoho WorkDrive
The purpose of this article is to walk users through the steps of sharing items (Files, Folders, etc.) in Zoho WorkDrive. This includes Zoho Sheets documents, CRM attachments and more!
The benefits of this feature include:
- The ability to collaborate together on one or more files/folders.
- Depending on the permissions granted, multiple users can make edits, copy items or delete items, granting great flexibility depending on your teams needs.
- You will be notified if someone shares something with you, always keeping you in the loop.
- You can directly save items to a shared folder and everyone with access to the shared folder will automatically see the shared items. This will remove the need to share items individually!
How to locate items shared with you
- Log into Zoho Workdrive
- On the navigation bar to the left, click "Shared with me"

- You can filter for specific items using the filter icon at the top right:

- DONE!
How to share an item in Zoho WorkDrive
- While in the Zoho WorkDrive app, find the file or folder you wish to share, hover over it and click the 3 dots next to the item:

- Click "Share" then choose "Choose Members" for internal (IDF users) sharing:

- Type in the name or email address of the user(s) you wish to share with, Choose an Access Level, then click Share:

Users added will be notified via email of the access granted.
- DONE!
