How to adjust notification settings in Viva Engage

  1. Log into the Viva Engage home page using your Microsoft Credentials
  2. Click the Gear Icon on the top right and select "User Settings":

  3. Select "Notifications" on the list of available settings on the left navigation bar. Available notifications settings will appear on the right navigation window:

  4. DONE!

Notable settings to adjust

  1. Daily Digest: Turn this feature OFF if you wish to stop receiving notifications daily about communities and storylines. If this feature is left toggled ON, you will get notifications even if there has been no new items or relevant activity. Turning this OFF will greatly decrease on notification clutter.
  2. Weekly Digest: Similar to Daily Digest but is Weekly notifications. Turning this OFF will greatly decrease on notification clutter.
  3. Desktop push notifications: Enabling this feature will use your browser to notify you on your desktop. You will need to allow your browser to use desktop notifications. If you have trouble enabling this or think this is not working correctly after being enabled, please submit a ticket so we can help you.
